Our nursery has been purpose-built to provide a secure, accessible space for children. Each room has been created for a different age group, offering them a space dedicated to their needs and development level. There is also access to our nursery garden from every room, offering children a safe outdoor environment to learn and play in.
Hedgehogs is our youngest room, specially built for infants. The space is neutrally decorated, offering a calm and soft space for the children. There are also lots of natural toys for children to begin to explore the world around them, including building blocks and wooden shapes, as well as sensory stimulation in the form of hanging decorations.
For our Squirrels, a light filled room combines quiet corners and soft furnishings with stimulating play areas which encourage children to play together, explore messy play, and create their own games with the toys provided.
We'd love to send you our FREE parent pack, full of helpful information about The Learning Tree Day Nursery...
Owls are supported in their learning and development in an open room, offering them various equipment, toys and learning material appropriate to their age. They are free to explore the room as they see fit, learning by experiencing different sections of the room, including the dress up corner, sand area, reading nook, and messy play.
Rabbits have a bright and stimulating room which encourages messy play, role play, and small world play. We encourage children at all ages to explore their creativity, using the environment around them to enhance their imaginative play and physical development.
Our Badgers nursery room is designed to support children’s natural interest in the world. Their intrigue is encouraged through imaginative small world play and the construction zone. As with our other rooms, there is a quiet corner which children can utilise for reading, developing their understanding of both English and Welsh.
Our oldest children are offered a variety of activities, ranging from role play, small world play, and messy play, to information technology and a book corner. They are encouraged to explore the world in a way that is meaningful to them and are supported by staff in their learning, to ensure they are confident in themselves and understand how to interact with those around them.

Accessible from every room, the nursery garden ensures the children have access to an outdoor space despite our central location. This allows the children to experience outdoor activities year-round, extending their learning from the indoor space.
All of our menus are fully prepared on site by our in-house Nursery Chef, and they are all NHS approved. We have a three week, rotating menu, which can be changed to accommodate any dietary requirements your child may have.
Fresh drinking water is available to the children at all times throughout the day and, upon joining the nursery, your child will receive their own personal water bottle which is labelled.
Please feel free to pop into our nursery and pick up a more detailed menu which includes allergen codes, along with our Weaning Menus for babies. If necessary, please discuss any requirements with our Nursery Manager upon your visit to the nursery.
